Best Free Anime Streaming Services in 2021

Every year, anime is becoming more and more popular worldwide. There are a lot of paid streaming services you can use to watch loads of anime, but there are also lots of free services available that you can use to watch anime. Here we are about to take a look at some of the best free anime streaming sites in 2021. Just keep in mind that some of these services may not be available in every country, and that availabilities of certain shows is often restricted to certain regions.

Crunchyroll

Crunchyroll is probably one of the best known anime streaming sites. This popular site has thousands of episodes of anime shows to watch. Compared to other sites, Crunchyroll has one of the largest catalogues of series available to watch. With a free account, you can watch episodes one week after release, or you can subscribe to Crunchyroll Premium to be able to watch episodes when they release. The site is ad-supported using frequent midrolls, although with a subscription you do not see any ads. Crunchyroll allows all users, regardless of their subscription status to watch series in up to 1080p if supported by that series. In addition to anime, Crunchyroll also has a collection of both Asian drama series as well as manga that you can enjoy.

AnimeLab

AnimeLab is a anime streaming service owned and operated by Madman in Australia and New Zealand. The service offers many series to view free of charge with ads, and also has a subscription to watch ad free. AnimeLab's library is made up by series in Madman's catalogue as well as many series from Funimation. With a free account, you are limited to only watching videos in up to 480p, and up to 1080p with a subscription, although as the licenses for many of these shows are held by Funimation, many of these shows can also be watched on Funimation in 1080p for free. While older series allow you to choose to watch them either subbed or dubbed, newer shows require a subscription to watch dubbed. Like Crunchyroll, AnimeLab allows free users to watch episodes one week after release on the platform. AnimeLab also has anime movies available to watch, as well as some live action anime adaptations, although these also require a subscription. If you live in Australia or New Zealand and can't find a series on a more popular platform like Crunchyroll, you might want to check out AnimeLab to see if they have it.

anime-planet

Anime-planet is an anime and manga fan site that has partnered with content providers such as Crunchyroll to provide episodes of popular anime free to watch on their site. The site features the same advertisements as if you watched on the respective platforms of the content providers, and as it uses the same libraries of these sites, you can also just watch these series on the platforms they come from. You may be wondering why you would want to watch these videos on anime-planet instead of their respective platforms, but as anime-planet gathers videos from different sites, this means that you can just watch videos here instead of having to go between the sites it has partnered with.

Funimation

Funimation has been in the anime distribution business for a long time, originally localising anime releases for a primarily American audience, and has since branched out into offering online streaming. Funimation has a large library of shows, although it appears much smaller than Crunchyroll. Funimation is ad-supported with a free account, but also offers a paid subscription. Free accounts, in addition to having ads also are not able to watch newly released videos. As of the time of writing, some series such as 'Cells at Work! CODE BLACK' may appear to not allow free accounts to watch the first episode, but this is because it defaults to the dub, which is currently not available to free accounts. To be able to watch episodes like these, you will have to go into the video then change the language to English. Funimation has a lot of exclusive series available, so if a series you want to watch isn't available on other platforms, you might want to check out Funimation.

TubiTV

TubiTV is a relatively new streaming site that services the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand. The site is home to content licensed from content partners. The site has a large collection of film and TV content, including an anime category. While you won't find any hugely popular or new series from big studios, mainly only having older anime or cheap-to-license anime, it does have a lot of series that are hard to find on other sites, so TubiTV may be a good place to find some series that you otherwise would never have had the chance to watch. TubiTV doesn't release new episodes weekly through simulcasts, so don't look expecting to find the latest episodes of a show. A good thing about Tubi is that the site is completely free, with no paid subscriptions, meaning as soon as a series goes live, you can watch it without needing a subscription. One downside though, is that as there is no subscription, there is no way to get rid of ads if you are willing to pay.

iQIYI

iQIYI may be a weird choice for this list since it a Chinese streaming service, but they now also have a streaming service 'iq.com' aimed at an international audience. If I were to have a guess, I would probably say that the site is trying to compete with other sites such as Rakuten's Viki service given that it primarily focuses on Asian drama, and has user-generated subtitles in almost every conceivable language. The site does have an anime section, but as far as I can tell, it seems to all be Chinese animated series. I am however putting it on this list, as although many people likely wouldn't consider this anime, it does have a lot of shows in the general anime-esque art style. With a free account, you can watch episodes in up to 720p, and with a VIP account you can watch in up to 1080p. Some series are also only available to VIPs, as well as new episodes.

Domestic TV Broadcasters

This one is a little open ended, but many free-to-air TV station operators offer free streaming services that you can use to catch up on shows that have recently aired and that you may have missed. The catalogues on these sites are constantly changing, and you often only have a couple weeks to watch an episode, meaning you often won't get to binge a whole season at once. Some great examples of free streaming services provided by broadcasters are BBC iPlayer in the UK (although you will need a TV license) and ABC iView in Australia. Many other large broadcasters will also have their own, so if there is a large broadcaster in your area, you can do a quick web search to see if they have their own. Many of these sites do have a lot of interstitial or midroll advertisements, although a good thing about BBC iPlayer and ABC iView is that they feature no ads as they are paid for by the government either through TV licenses or taxes.

YouTube

YouTube may seem like an unusual place to go looking for free licensed anime, but there is actually quite a bit if you know where to look. At one point about a decade ago, Funimation used to upload anime episodes on their YouTube channel, although there are only in 360p or 480p. Funimation no longer uploads full episodes to YouTube, but as of recent, more and more studios and companies have. Recently a lot of animation studios have decided to start releasing content on YouTube in order to open up a new potentially profitable revenue stream. A few examples of these channels include 'Tezuka Production Offical', 'AnimeLog', and ' GundamInfo'. Based on the recent trend towards media releasing content for free on YouTube, there will probably be a lot more anime series legally available for free on YouTube in the coming years.

Today we have covered eight great places to look for free anime streaming online. For someone on a budget, or for those that don't mind having to watch ads, these sites are great places to get great quality free entertainment.

Where To Get Free DRM Free Comics in 2020

Comic books and graphic novels are increasingly popular among readers of all ages. Sometimes it can be difficult to find digital comic books affordably, and when you do, they can often be riddled with DRM that means you can't use them except on their website of app. DRM free comics allow you to use your comics however you want, and free comics fixes the affordability problem.

Comic Book Plus

Comic Book Plus is a site that offers free public domain comic books. The site has a wide selection of comics in different genres as well as US government material and educational comics, including some rarer comics. You can read the books for free online, or download them, although they require an account to download files.
https://comicbookplus.com/

Comixology

Comixology is an Amazon-owned service that sells digital comic books and manga. In addition to the content they sell, they also have a wide range of free comics, including some from major publishers such as Marvel Comics. Recently, the selection of free comics increased greatly. While many of these comics are only available to read online or in the Comixology app, some allow downloading in PDF or CBZ formats.
https://comixology.com/

Itch.io

Itch.io is an online community and store front mainly known for its wide selection of free and paid games from indie developers. Unlike the other similar platform GameJolt, which only allows games, itch.io also has assets, soundtracks, books and development tools, as well as comics. Itch.io has a wide selection of comics that you can download for free, most commonly in CBZ and PDF formats. Most comics that you can find on itch.io are direct downloads of files without DRM.
https://itch.io/

Panel Syndicate

Panel Syndicate is not a traditional online ebook store like the others on the list. Panel Syndicate is a pay what you want site that allows users to download DRM free comics and visual novels direct from comic book creators. There is no minimum price, so you can download all the comics you want on this site for free, and pay for the comics you like. One issue with Panel Syndicate is that compared to the others, it has quite a limited selection of comics to download.
http://panelsyndicate.com/

The Internet archive

Archive.org, or as it is sometimes known, The Internet Archive is a huge online library of free books, videos, software and sound recordings. The Internet Archive has a wide selection of comics that you can download, in a variety of formats based on what they were uploaded including PDF, CBZ, CBR, EPUB, etc.. The Internet Archive has a wide selection of public domain comics, manga and magazines as well as some more modern comics. Most of the comics on The Internet Archive allow you to download a DRM free copy instantly, but some books on The Internet Archive have waitlists to borrow, and to facilitate this, books that you can borrow do have DRM.
https://archive.org/

That wraps up the list of five great sites that allow you to get great DRM free comics for free, that you can use however you like.

{}That Time Pepsi Offered to Give Away A Jet

A legal battle has erupted over a seemingly innocuous commercial in which Pepsi uses the words "Pepsi points" and "Harrier jet" in the title. The commercial shows a child driving a car with a humorous claim that there are 7 million Pepsi points, which assumes that the person drinks enough Pepsi to earn a total of 7,000 points for the entire year of their life. Sources: 2
John Leonard, however, did not see the humor and decided that the Pepsi commercial was a legally binding offer. Bizarrely, Pepsi got the company responsible for the TV commercial to reply that the offer was clearly a joke, adding that they found it hard to believe anyone was actually taking it seriously. Sources: 0, 2
To avoid a copycat lawsuit, Pepsi quickly changed the jet needed at that point to $700 million, but it's fair to say they started insulting themselves. Sources: 0
Oddly enough, Pepsi did not forward the letter to them, but to the advertising company responsible for the commercial, which responded to Leonard that the offer was clearly a joke, adding that they found it hard to believe that anyone was actually taking it seriously. Perhaps Pepsi was at least a little nervous about this issue, and to avoid a copying process, it changed the price of the Jet ad from $7,000 Pepsi Points to $700 million, or perhaps even more importantly, from the original offer of $1 million. All this was done after Leonard sued Pepsi for fraud, breach of contract and misleading advertising, but not before Leonard sued her. Sources: 0, 4
All of these issues have relevance to Leonard's lawsuit against Pepsi for fraud, breach of contract and misleading advertising, but they must be resolved before she sues PepsiCo, the maker of Pepsi. Sources: 0, 7
PepsiCo, Inc. thought it was a pretty good joke to pretend to give away a Harrier fighter jet. An ad for Pepsi Points showed a 13-year-old child collecting 7 million Pepsi points and exchanging them for a vertically launched Harriers jet. PepsiCo won't give me a copy of the ad, except to say they said they would give away the "Harrier Jet" after I collected the 7 million Pepsi points. Sources: 7, 8
PepsiCo, Inc. thought it was a pretty good joke to pretend to give away a Harrier fighter jet. The company stopped laughing after John D.R. Leonard tried to dismantle Pepsi, but not before he did so. The New York-based company is currently bottling a Pepsi Stuff TV commercial in which Pepsi drinkers will receive a "Harrier Jet" as a reward for participating in a sweepstakes for a $7 million Pepsi points program. Sources: 3, 8
The company stopped laughing after John D.D.R. Leonard tried to dismantle Pepsi, but not before he did so. The New York-based company is taking part in a sweepstakes for a Pepsi Stuff TV commercial in which Pepsi drinkers will receive a "Harrier Jet" as part of a $7 million Pepsi points program as a reward. But after doing some research after seeing it, he realized it was a great deal to get a Harrier fighter jet for $1,000 (about $2,500 in today's dollars). Sources: 0, 3
In 1995, the Harrier Jet was worth $33 million, and he forgot a point for every 2-liter bottle of Pepsi he bought. Sources: 0
The White House said the Harrier jet could not be sold to civilians, which in the case of the marsh harrier would have meant it would have been deprived of the ability to land, take off and land in practice, rendering it unairworthy. That meant he could have picked it up for about $7 million. The case involved a dispute between the Air Force and Leonard Nimoy, the former head of Lockheed Martin, stemming from a disagreement over whether or not there was a valid contract. Sources: 0, 6
The only actual file I can find is in the alleged US District Court for the Southern District of New York, which ruled in favor of defendant Pepsico. Sources: 5, 6
CNN reported the story, quoting Pentagon officials as saying that if John Leonard had won the case at all, Pepsi would not have been able to acquire the Harrier jets because their ownership by private individuals would have been illegal. If everything had gone the way Leonhard did, he would have ended up with a full jet, but the Pentagon nullified the promotion in September 1997 when it announced that the $33.8 million jet was not for sale and was in flying condition. Sources: 5
The court sided with Pepsi and ruled that no objective person could reasonably conclude that the commercial actually offered the consumer a Harrier jet. Pepsi itself has since updated its commercial, increasing the number of points needed for the jet from 7 million to 700 million. Speaking of Pepsi, the 2017 Pepsi ad, which featured a picture of a jet with the words "Pepsi for sale," left everyone in a bad taste. Updated to update: Pepsi itself has updated its commercial with a new version of the ad.

Sailor Moon to Stream Free on YouTube

Sailor Moon is a classic anime series with many fans all over the world. Sailor Moon was a Toei anime production that debuted in the mid 1990s and would continue for years producing well over 100 anime episodes across its many series. The series would be incredibly popular all over the world and would produce massively successful merchandise. Some attribute Sailor Moon as being a contributing factor of the popularity of magical girl anime, as well as helping popularise anime in the west alongside other anime such as Dragon Ball and Pokemon.

Recently on the official Sailor Moon News site, it was announced that they would be making the 127 episodes of 'Sailor Moon', 'Sailor Moon R' and 'Sailor Moon S' series free over a course of about three months with 10 episodes being released each week until all of the episodes have been released.

15 Ripoff Temple Run Games for Android

It seems like just a few years ago, that it was popular to play temple run, and if you were cool, or maybe if you weren't you would play some of the weird and wacky takes on the style. There are some fairly mainstream takes on the endless runner genre, but we will ignore those today to see if we can find some that are a bit less mainstream. A lot of clones appear to use the same template, with just slightly different assets. The list of 15 of these games is below.

  • Dark Temple Jungle Run
  • Jungle Run Lost Temple
  • Lost Temple Run - Endless Run 3D
  • Pixel Temple Run
  • Run Monster Run!
  • Spirit Run
  • Temple Final Run
  • Temple Final Run 2
  • Temple Home Rush
  • Tempe Horror Run
  • Temple Jungle Run Oz
  • Temple Spirit Run
  • Tomb Runner - Raider Rush
  • Warrior Princess Temple Run
  • Zombie Run HD

5 Oddly Specific Android Apps

There are a lot of different apps on Google Play. Some of them try to go for the broadest appeal like music apps and social media, others attempt to hone in on the most specific things they could possibly be for. These are 5 I found whilst exploring Google Play. For these apps, the name says it all.

Cargo Surveyor
Designed for cargo surveyors, this app seems to have a bit of everything they could need. It seems incredibly robust if you are in this field, and it seems to have extremely good ratings too. Apparently it hasn't been installed much, as installs according to Google Play is only on "500+".

Genetic Helper
This is an app designed to help automatically convert DNA sequences to the complimentary DNA, mRNA, as well as tRNA. This app has a solid 4.2 rating. This one is a bit more popular with "10,000+" installs.

Knots Video Guide FULL
Google Play seems to be full with a lot of knots guides apps. This one seems to be quite good with a total of 58 knots to learn to tie. It has a great 4.4 star rating as well as '50,000+' installs. Reviews like this app because it is free and has no ads, even with great videos to teach knot tying.

Scarf Fashion Designer
This app is to help people with their scarf needs. It has rather mixed reviews at an average of 3.8 stars. This one is the most popular yet, with over one million installs. This app does however also have in-app purchases.

Step By Step Shoe Lacing Guide Pro
You may think, doesn't everyone know how to tie shoes, but not everyone does, and that isn't really the point of this app. With a solid 4.6 star rating and over 50,000 installs, this app seeks to teach people how to lace up their shoes, with over 50 lacing styles either practical or decorative, and allows your shoes to be a little unique if you care for that.

5 Free Pokemon Clones for Android

Pokemon is one of the most popular video game and in general, media franchises in the world. With this, it is no wonder that many people have sought to emulate it's charm, or just straight up ripped it off. This article is a list of the top 5 free Pokemon clones for android.

Pet Dex
Pet Dex is a very much Pokemon inspired game, with the characters being directly ripped from that game. It is a turn based strategy game, much in the same style as those automated battle games, where you go after enemy after enemy, and level up your team. These games tend to be great initially, but some may find them boring after a while if they are not spending any money.

Detective Trainer
Detective Trainer is very much similar to Pet Dex in that it is an automated battler game, but it is much of a more cartoonish style, and is not 3D at all. This game also takes other characters from Pokemon such as Misty and Brock. This game does not have a world to explore in the same way that Pet Dex did though.

Mon Research / Monster Versus
Mon Research takes the role of a city building game sinned to be Pokemon themed. It has Pokemon, as well as other characters directly from Pokemon, and uses them in a fighting similar very much similar to Pet Dex. These battles are much more entertaining that the other games, and the battles have much more visual appeal. There is also much more you can do with the Pokemon to upgrade them. If you like city building and upgrade games, this game might be one for you.

口袋决斗
口袋决斗 is a very close approximation to a modern Pokemon game similar to those on the DS and 3DS. One thing that you might have thought looking at the title is that it is only in Chinese, and yes this Chinese clone of Pokemon is only in Chinese, but that doesn't seem to be a problem. Much of the game you can figure out yourself without being able to read, and the dialogue with NPCs, at least at the start of the game isn't really important. It is a fun Pokemon clone, and very close to the actual games.

宠物基地
宠物基地 is another Chinese Pokemon clone. It is very unique, starting off with a phone call to Professor Oak. It then dives directly into a Pokemon RPG. It has many aspects similar to Pokemon, and you might find it fun.

How to Play Minecraft Alpha in Your Browser

For the 10th anniversary of Minecraft, Mojang now lets you play an alpha version of the game in your browser. To do this, simple go to classic.minecraft.net and you will find yourself at the menu screen to the game. This game is very basic in comparison to modern versions of Minecraft, only allowing you to play in creative, and appears to have some bugs such as water instantly filling low down areas, although it is still very impressive that it is working from within a browser. What is even more amazing, is that this version actually supports multiplayer.

Where to Get Free Games For Your Site in 2020

There are many people who play games online in their browsers. It is a huge market, and that is why there are so many sites dedicated to browser games. The list is long including Kongregate, Newgrounds, gamejolt, itch.io, coolmathgames, and the list goes on. This type of site started in the 1990s and is still strong today, with no signs of going away any time soon. In this time there has been a change in technologies used such as Adobe Flash and Microsoft Silverlight, all the way to the current HTML5. Web based games are easily accessible to almost anyone and can be addicting whilst simple to run. The advent of HTML5 has even meant that these games can be played on mobile devices.

Because of this, it is no wander that webmasters want to use games to gain traffic on their sites, or even want to make their own gaming sites and platforms. While this may seem like a great idea to some, a major problem in this is getting content for the site, whether making games yourself, getting someone to do that for you, or licensing content. Thankfully, there are many large online gaming platforms that make games available to other websites free of charge. While some allow direct embedding, others provide downloads so you can host them yourself. There are also two technologies being used Flash, and the more modern HTML5. Embeddable games are useful as they are hosted by other websites, and do not require you to set up hosting for the game files.

Due to this I will be using a key for each site listed down below.

It will look something like this:
E|D|F|H
and will come before the name of each website. The key is broken up into four parts, E (embeddable), D (downloadable), F (Flash), H (HTML5). If a part of the key is green, then that means that type of content is available, if it is red, than it is not. So for our example key above, the website provides embeddable content, and it provides content both is the category of flash games and HTML5, it does not provide any downloadable games, as that is red.

E|D|F|H Miniclip
Miniclip is one of the largest online flash games sites. They also offer a wide selection of their games that you are free to embed on your website.

E|D|F|H HTML Games
HTML Games offers HTML5 games that you can place on your website. They have a wide selection of categories in games, mostly in the puzzle and board game categories. They offer both free games to embed if you keep the pre-roll ads, or you can license the games for around $400 USD each if you want to remove ads, add your own and get it branded.

E|D|F|H Kongregate
Kongregate is one of the largest and best online browser-based game sites on the internet. The site even has hundreds of games on their site that users are able to embed on their website.

E|D|F|H PrimaryGames
Primary Games offers a variety of games that you are able to add to your site for free. There are embeddable Flash games and downloadable HTML5 games. The page does not specify which gmes are which, so you will have to click on the title which will either take you to the embed code, or will automatically download the file.

E|D|F|H Free World Group
Free World Group offers a wide variety of games that you can use on your site. They offer iframe embeddable HTML5 games on the site as well as downloadable Flash games. It does not offer downloadable HTML5 games or embeddable Flash games. The embeddable HTML5 games did not load correctly when testing, so you might not want to use these on your site.

E|D|F|H Games68
Games68 is one of the larger gaming sites which offers over 317000 free online games. There are also thousands of embeddable games that you can use on your site, however they all seem to be flash based.

E|D|F|H playpager
Playpager is a a site that provides free puzzle and board games to play online. They have also made games available free to webmasters to embed online. They do not have much content for you to use, but they do have some high quality games.

E|D|F|H Gameflare
Gameflare is a site that provides a wide variety of free online games, and a wide variety of embeddable games, mostly WebGL based HTML5 games. Many games are similar to mobile games, and these games should work on mobile devices as well. This site also provides mobile versions of some specific games as well.

E|D|F|H embed
Embed supplies a wide selection of retro-style games, including a wide selection or arcade and card games that you can easily embed onto your website.

E|D|F|H FreeGamesJungle
Freegamesjungle is home to over 2600 flash games to play online. They also supply a selection of dozens of flash games that you can download and upload on your site, however they do not have any embeddable options. They also have a embeddable game bar link to their website that you can put on your website: www.freegamesjungle.com/add_gameroom.html.

E|D|F|H CrazyMonkeyGames
CrazyMonkeyGames is a huge online flash gaming website with a wide selection of flash games to play. They also provide a wide selection of downloadable flash games that you are able to submit on your website. However, there is no option to embed.

E|D|F|H FreeGamesForYourWebsite
FreeGamesForYourWebsite provides games for your website. I have not been able to get embedding to work, so you might have to test out these games before considering using this site.

E|D|F|H Flipline Studios
Flipline Studios has a wide selection of downloadable games that you can use on your website. All of the games are flash games that you can downoad and add to your site, none of them are embeddable. Flipline Studios also has the range of 'Papa's' games.

I have made another blog with a bunch of games from these sites embedded to show you what you can make with these sites without having to host any of your own games. Check it out on the link below:

High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even In Another World Episode 2 Review [SPOILERS]

The episode starts off showing that the corruption in the world spreads further than corrupt imperial knight exploiting their position. After seeing that the only licensed trader is trying to rip the village off, and that based on his prices the village will not be able to survive, Masato Sanada shows his business and entrepreneurial expertise in saying to Elch that if he does't like the bad trades he doesn't need to accept them, and that he can build his own business empire and put that trader out of business in a week. Masato explains that their whole group owes their lives to the village, and that he will not stand for them being exploited due to this.

The group has been shown to have incorporated well into the village and now each have their own roles. Masato establishes his own trading company through blackmailing the mayor for a permit, and that is the main premise for this episode. Masato establishes the Amazon equivalent of their world, selling the products of villagers for a commission fee of 10% allowing others to sell their own products directly without a permit legally, whilst making more than they would have elsewhere, and allowing Masato's new business to make money without ever having to purchase any product.

In stark contrast to the first episode, this episode has no narration and now has incorporated elements of a plot and daily life in the village, similar to other good isekai series. This episode has been much of an improvement compared to the first.

High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even In Another World First Impressions [SPOILERS]

Okay, so starting off with these first impressions, I have started watching the English dub version available on Crunchyroll, but plan to watch later episodes with the sub, due to the cheesy-sounding voice acting. Obviously, this review is going to contain SPOILERS!

Image From Crunchyroll

The first episode starts off with character introductions for the internationally renowned 'prodigies' that based on the relatively realistic setting of Japan on Earth seems unrealistic. There are these seven prodigies that all high highly-esteemed positions such as a politician (prime minster), surgeon, inventor, stock trader, magician (seems to be different, as it seems to be the most unrealistic in this setting of a realistic Earth), journalist, and a samurai that fights in war zones. It seems unrealistic that these high-school students would be given these jobs and responsibilities as children, particularly those that have a high risk. The introduction from the opening narrator to introduce these character and their premise of their plane flying to this magical world comes across as the type of thing that one would have seen in the original series of Pokémon.

The first of the group to wake up after the plane crash is the politician Tsukasa Mikogami who comes across as unlikable, and appears to be the main character/leader of this group. The episode immediately skips to a month later when the group have already been living amongst the village that found them, skipping the humour of a typical isekai-esque series where character try to get adjusted to their new world and vastly different way of life. The group seem to be held in high regard by this community, although to this point they have not been shown to have contributed anything or their ideas that supposedly make them 'prodigies' to this community. It is here that the group learn of a legend that a long time ago, a group of seven people came from another world and overthrew the evil ruler.

Under the guidance and leadership of Tsukasa the group aims to help 'rebuild the finances' of the community as a way of repaying their debt to the community for looking after them. Near the end of the first episode, the first conflict comes up, an evil militant group of imperial knights are abusing their power to impose a protection racket upon the town. Tsukasa steps in as a leader to reject their offer, and the leader of these knights says that it is an insult to the empire and the emperor. Just as the knights are about to assert their dominance, the samurai and the journalist (a descendant of a ninja) take out the group except for their leader.

Conclusion:
Overall the anime seems like a cheap cash grab of the isekai genre, with little substance or interesting semblance of plot.
